In 2008 Pru (then Prudential Plaza) pursued LEED certification for Existing Buildings. Over a decade later, through four different owners and management teams, 389nm continues to work with Pru on sustainability. Services have included air quality surveys, LEED certification (Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance Gold), tenant outreach, electric bus infrastructure and capacity, energy efficiency, waste and renewable energy. Pru has embarked on a multi-million dollar renovation in the wake of the Covid pandemic with sustainability in mind.
