The Priority Climate Action Plan (PCAP), funded by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 2023 started the Pokagon Band’s first inventory and assessment of its buildings and operations. The four month project developed a greenhouse gas inventory and identified and cataloged building energy use intensity and fleet vehicle efficiency. The project set the Pokagon Band up to apply for $5M in implementation funding, and is being expanded in 2024 with the Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP) for the Band, again with 389nm in the lead.
